The Second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo

Hosted jointly by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM) and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE) is an important platform for China and African countries to come together and engage in relevant economic and trade exchanges and dialogues.

Axis Group International will be an exhibitor at this year’s event and will be situated in Hall W2 – the Exhibition Hall of African Commodities, which will feature various companies dealing in coffee, precious stones, cosmetics, African art, and various agriproducts, among others. Axis Group will also be representing KWV, South Africa’s premier wine and spirits brand, in the Wine Pavilion, also in Hall W2.

The theme for 2021 is “New Start, New Opportunities, New Accomplishments” and six African countries—Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, and Senegal—will serve as guest countries of honor, with Zhejiang and Jiangxi serving as theme provinces. Also, meetings, exhibitions, and consultations will be held as well as various activities to promote project cooperation and trade transactions between China and Africa, thus pushing China-Africa economic and trade relations to new heights.
