The ideal candidate for this position is a digital-savvy and creative individual with an eye for detail, who is passionate about content marketing, consumer products, data and continuous learning, while also possessing strong coordination and organization skills. S/he has an interest in foreign brands and products, and telling their stories to make them more accessible to Chinese consumers. 


  • Manage and/or assist in the localization and execution of foreign brand owners’ marketing strategy
  • Coordinate with relevant third-party providers / agencies on the creation of localized brand assets and content
  • Develop and drive social media content and campaigns for brands on key platforms (e.g. Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, Tiktok, WeChat, Weibo, etc.)
  • Develop and manage online communities of brand enthusiasts who can enhance the promotion and recognition of the products in their social networks
  • Identify, filter and select effective and right-fit KOLs/KOCs for relevant brands
  • Perform regular competitor audits
  • Track and anticipate industry and product category best practice marketing activities to advise, develop and execute these campaigns for the brands we represent
  • Monthly reporting on marketing campaigns and activities to help ensure prudent spend x revenue activities
  • Empower sales team with marketing campaigns that help drive lead conversions and purchase orders
  • Enable and assist e-commerce team activities, especially on social commerce platforms like Douyin, WeChat, Pinduoduo, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, etc.
  • Other sales support activities


  • 3+ years of digital (social media) marketing for consumer products experience required, preferably with experience in promoting foreign brands on popular platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of China’s online ecosystem and how to leverage popular platforms appropriately, knowledge of and experience in e-commerce ecosystem a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in marketing, communications, advertising or related major preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and internet-based research

  • Proficient with design and print software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (Knowledge of additional design software an advantage)
  • High standard of quality and attention to detail

  • Energetic, proactive, highly motivated with an individual capacity for creative flair
  • Ability to handle pressure and work with tight deadlines
  • Native Chinese language skills, English language skills a strong advantage
