Roles and Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Motivate and empower subordinates and peers continuously to achieve overall teamwork success; Steer the team with work planning and implementation; Utilize and leverage team’s resources and intelligence to the fullest, whilst also seeking and providing support and learnings proactively
• Client Relationship: Represent Axis Group by nurturing and sustaining the complicated relationship with clients as a trusted advisor by constantly providing distinguished values and communication with different levels of counterparts; Timely and proactively sensor changes (opportunities), and dive in with plans and alternatives
• Business Performance Management and Development: Accountable for related projects’ financial metrics, constantly review and ensure the overall business performance; continuously seek improvement opportunities, and added-values for business developments
• Risk Management: Proactively sensor, identify, manage risks, craft solutions, plans and alternatives
• Lead and supervise team in day-to-day project works planning, execution and deliverables
• Act as the reliable point of contact to the client in day-to-day communications
• Control and review all the deliverables prepared by the team for client readiness
• Manage project budgets and ensure effective project administration
• Oversee scope of projects, work schedules and cost controls
• Collate, evaluate and approve suppliers and contractors
• Supervise team to work on suppliers’ on-site visits for clients
• Lead and ensure that all engineering-related works are delivered accurately and timely
• Compile and evaluate the technical documents of design and technology processes as well as inspection and testing plans

Requirements:

• A seasoned procurement engineer specialized in categories of heavy industries and equipment, heat and material treatment, machining, casting, components and spare parts
• Knowledge and experience in procurement projects and activities, concerning the above mentioned categories are essential
• Minimum 8-10 years relevant experiences as PM and Engineer of above mentioned categories, ideally from an international working environment
• Strong project management capability
• BS/BE (or above) degree holder with relevant majors
• Well trained on project and risk management, ideally with relevant certifications or qualifications (PMP, PMI-ACP etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in professional business writing
• Proficient command of English (written and spoken) and understand of all business devices and software
• Outstanding communication skills with people at all levels
• Constantly stay relevant and refreshed on industry knowledge, market trends and new technologies
• Be a respectable and approachable mentor to others not only for knowledge and expertise, but also personal growth
